  1. not sure this is where to comment on the ” if you biggest fear was a carnival ride…”-question, but if it is min would be called “certain Death”

  2. Those pictures are absolutely amazing! So creepy, they get my imagination wild. My ride would be a fun house filled with ghostly images of clowns. The price I’d charge? The poisoning of your most beloved memory. =)

    • Hi Georgina πŸ™‚
Love your ride but especially love the horrifying price you’d charge!
      Good luck for the giveaway!
      Thanks for coffinhopping past!
      – Kim

  3. Fun pics! My scariest ride would be Devil’s Tunnel. A tunnel ride where it looks like the walls are collapsing around you…for an added scare, fire at the only way out.

    • Ooh my, this is a frightfully fantastic ride, Rachelle.
      Good Luck for the giveaway.
      Thanks for coffinhopping past! πŸ™‚
      – Kim

    • Oooh…this ride would definitely horrify me, bn100.
      Good Luck for the giveaway!
      Thanks for coffinhopping past! πŸ™‚
      – Kim

  4. My ride would be called Snakes and Parachutes…heights and snakes, the worst thing ever

  5. I forgot to include the name for my ride – Spider’s Tunnel! I was just reading about funnel web spiders and their creepy webs would make a scary ride!

  6. Some great photos here! I visited San Francisco this September and took some pics of the carousel at Pier 39 but they weren’t quite so creepy. Thanks for the contest and hope to see you again on the Hop!

    • Hi Mary,

Your visit to the Pier 39 carousel sounds wonderful!
The photographers featured here are amazingly talented! Happy to share their work.
      Thanks for coffinhopping past! πŸ™‚
      – Kim

  7. Sorry – I missed the ‘worst fear’ part of the challenge. If my worst fear was a ride, it would be called ‘It’s a Small World’ – oh, wait, that already exists… lol Okay, I think it would be a massive slime coated slide with hands groping you as you sluiced downward in a spiral in the dark. And it would dump you in Willy Wonka’s Candy room, but the room would be decayed. The mushrooms moldy; the tea cups cracked; the chocolate waterfall a clogged dribble; and the previously churning stream a pool of stagnant filth where mosquitoes breed. It would be called ‘Slip and Died’.

  8. Hi, Kim. Of course I wanted to join the chorus of folks, admiring what you’ve done here. Great photos/theme. Very spooky!
    Happy Coffin Hopping!

    -Jimmy

    • Hi Jimmy!
You know you always put a smile on my face. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
Thanks for coffinhopping past! Be careful of the clown!
      – Kim

    • Hi Julianne,

I couldn’t agree more! Abandoned amusement parks are the creepiest!
      Thanks for coffinhopping past! πŸ™‚
      – Kim

    • Thanks Anita!
I have always thought all carnivals are a littke creepy…even the innicent ones…
      Thanks for coffinhopping past!
      – Kim πŸ™‚

  9. And my ride would be called: “This isn’t the end… Just the beginning of a journey to the unknown! Pay the price with a magic jellybean – and open your mind to your darkest nightmares…”

  10. Oh wow, I won’t sound original when I say THIS WEBSITE IS THE BOMB! The pics are creepy. Gives me a Silent Hill vibe. Creepy carnival. Gosh. I’m scared. πŸ˜‰

    • Hi Johanna! πŸ™‚

Nothing like a creepy, abandoned carnival to stoke the dark alleyways of the imagination…
      Thanks for the lovely compliments.
      Thanks for coffinhopping past!
      – Kim πŸ™‚

    • Thank you for the kind words Richard.
Always happy to have one of the Kintsugi Poets stop by. πŸ™‚
